Adding and Editing Photos

Your photos are the first thing people see. You can add up to 6 photos to your profile and update them at any time.

Adding a photo

1. Open your profile

   Tap the profile tab to open your profile page.

   

2. Tap the + button

   Tap the + button in your photo gallery to open your device’s photo library.

   

3. Select and crop your photo

   Choose a photo from your library. The photo editor will open so you can crop and adjust it before uploading.

   

4. Confirm the upload

   Tap confirm to add the photo to your profile.

Removing a photo

Tap the remove button on any photo in your gallery to delete it. Your first photo is your main profile image — if you remove it, the next photo in your gallery automatically becomes your main photo.

Reordering photos

Press and hold a photo, then drag it to a new position in your gallery. The first photo in your gallery is always the one people see first.

Tip

Put your best, clearest photo first. It’s the one shown on your profile card in the discover feed and makes the biggest impact on whether someone taps on your profile.

How many photos should you have?

You can add up to 6 photos. Profiles with 4 or more photos consistently perform better than those with just one or two — each additional photo gives someone more reason to match with you.

How to choose great profile photos

• Show Your Face: Skip the sunglasses, hats, and masks.
• Go Solo: Avoid group shots. Stand out on your own.
• Mix It Up: Include both close-ups and full-body shots.
• Keep It Natural: Ditch the bathroom mirror selfies. Natural lighting wins.
• Dress Your Best: Wear clothes that fit well and show your style.
• Look Approachable: Drop the tough look. Smile and look warm.
• Upload 5 to 8 Photos: Give people a real sense of who you are.
